Rating & filtering items

You can use hot keys to apply ratings and to filter items. The filter popup button in the main window’s toolbar also gives you access to common filter rules like “three stars & up.”

Star ratings

You can use the number keys 0 through 5 to set the number of stars an item has. Press the Control key with those numbers to set a quick filter.

Some camera models support setting star ratings on photos; Musebox will import these too.

Flagging

You can flag an item using the / key, and filter for flagged items using Control-/.

You can also click flags on thumbnails to set & remove flags.

Rejecting

You can reject items by pressing X, and filter for rejected items by pressing Control-X.

Resetting the filter to “unrated & up”

Use Control-Escape to reset the filter back to normal.
