Editing media

You can perform basic image editing within Musebox such as crop, rotate, straighten, and image color adjustments. These edits are saved nondestructively in the library database — the original files are not modified.

Copying edits

You can copy edits to other images using Pick and Paste.

Reverting changes

You can remove all adjustments you’ve made to an image by selecting it and using the Media > Revert to Original menu command.

You can also remove and reset individual adjustments using the Edit inspector.

If you can’t edit an image

Musebox cannot edit an image when:

  • The file format is not supported for editing
  • The file cannot be accessed, such as when it’s on an external drive that’s not connected to your Mac

Musebox will display a blank histogram in the Edit inspector when it cannot edit an image.
